- This Chapter is limited to the following base metals, their alloys, and articles thereof which are not more specifically covered elsewhere in the Nomenclature: (A) Tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, magnesium, cobalt, bismuth, titanium, zirconium, antimony and manganese; (B) Beryllium, chromium, hafnium, rhenium, thallium, cadmium, germanium, vanadium, gallium, indium and niobium (columbium). Base metals not included in this Chapter or preceding Chapters of Section XV are classified in Chapter 28. Most metals are mainly used in alloys or carbides; metal carbides are excluded from this Chapter.
